The line about tenancies is the one that matters here, because it decides who arranges a repair.

The quick answer

What is offered here is an introduction and some information. SinkGrind repairs nothing, sits outside any agreement you make with a contractor, and settles nothing about whether a tenant or a landlord is liable in a given tenancy.

SinkGrind is a referral service, not a contractor. We connect homeowners with independent contractors. Contractors are required to hold whatever credential their state or municipality demands. Every state page sets out who licenses plumbers there and where to check, so you can confirm before work begins. We carry out no work, we sell no equipment, we do not set prices, and we never charge homeowners anything — the contractors in our network pay us when we route them a call.

The contract is with whoever turns up

SinkGrind connects you to an independent business and then has no further role. Whatever is agreed — repair or replacement, price, what happens if the unit turns out to be dead — is agreed between you and them.

We are not a party to it, we do not set prices and never see them, and we neither supervise nor guarantee the work.

What the town figures describe

The figures on a town page are Census estimates for a postal area, with their own published margins. They describe housing in aggregate. They are not a statement about your kitchen, your plumbing or your disposal, and no page here reads them as one.

Safety

Nothing here is an instruction to reach into a garbage disposal. Cut the power at the switch and the breaker before anything goes into the chamber, and use tongs rather than your hand.
